This case study involves the development of a site-specific safety plan. The case study starts with identification of hazards and selection of appropriate controls to lower safety risks. Then specific safety concerns related to a large commercial building project are presented. Students are asked to address a series of issues related to each safety concern. Then the students are asked to complete a hazard assessment for one of the identified safety concerns.
Teaching Notes for the instructor are provided to assist in using the case study.
